What is this website about?

In December 2019 it was announced that the Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Company would be ceasing operations effective 1/1/2020. Most employees would be losing their jobs. For many, this blow was more than simply economic. The company became a second family to many of its employees and its loss was similar to the loss of a loved one. This website was created as a reaction to that news. Its main purposes are

• to help the "Trolley family" to keep in touch after the doors close, and
• to tap into the tremendous "human resources" present in Trolley to help people "land on their feet."
